All good responses. I've met lots of great folks here!!!
Congrats on post 2000. Rookie!!
Congrats Greg on your 2000 post milestone. Crappie.com has become a very important tool in my life. Now that I'm retired and have always had a dream of fishing as a sport. This forum is a central location where like mined people get together share techniques and ideals. The people are friendly and willing to do wherever to assist you in the sport of crappie fishing. I have met a lot of people on the site, some I'm willing to call a friend and I don't use that term too loosely. Whether you are sport fishing or just trying to find the hit spot for a few eaters, this is the place to be. Thanks guys for all you do. Let us continue to make this site better.

Congrats Greg on your milestone, and what a great gesture on the rod. I have met a number of members on Crappie.com and have enjoyed fishing with quiet a few as well. Coming from a different state that has much different type lakes, I can only say that everyone I have encountered here is great and I have learned a great deal from all. Thanks!
Good job Greg! Good bunch of like minded people and a wealth of information- just for the asking.
Congrats on 2,000 posts! As you asked to reflect on what Crappie.com has done for us, I couldn't help but immediatley thing back to just a couple years ago when my knowledge of crappie fishing was nearly none. I had always bass or bream fished and crappie always seemed to out smart me. I didnt know what type of line, bait, depth, timing, location, etc. I was used to walking a pond or lake bank and catching a dink bass anywhere but crappie seemed to be very different and I had given up on them until I was hooked up with Crappie.com. This site has given me the basic and extensive knowledge it takes to catch crappie. I now have rod and reels set up with the correct line, baits, I know where to go and when and because of reading posts I have been able to catch crappie these past few years.
I can't help but think that one or more of your 2,000 posts has been of assistance to me and for that I am grateful. Congrats again and keep spreading the knowlege to people like me that need much more.
I don't get to go fishing as much as I like, so I am usually reading y'all's post and taking it all in. I have been on this site for a year or two and I would like to say I enjoy reading y'all's banter and reports. I am particularly proud of the openness to ask for prayer, y'all are a great bunch of dudes and look forward to meeting y'all on the water one day, If I don't get skeerd. Congratulations on the 2000 post Greg!
Congrats on the milestone and a very cool gesture. Work and teenage aged kids keep me from fishing as much as I like, but I check in often to see how everyone is doing.
While I am new to the site and haven't personally met anyone from here everyone has been real friendly and helpful in my quest to become a better crappie fisherman.
