It was great seeing everyone at Lake Washington. The Magnolia Crappie Club puts on a great tournament and the folks in the club are top notch in all departments. We knew where the big fish were supposed to be this time of year but just weren't able to get enough of them in the boat for the win. They were biting short a lot of the time and I know we missed more fish than we caught. We had to weigh a couple of 10 inch dinks with our stringer that put us down to 10th place overall but were still in the money. David did manage to boat a couple of hogs that went 3.17 and 3.00 for the two big fish. I was gonna put 'em in the return tank but since he caught them both in one tourney I think David is going to have them mounted together on a single mount. Besides the three checks for placing 10th and 1st and 2nd big fish we also won a brand new Husqvarna chain saw as part of the big fish prize. Now David can start cutting firewood on the side, LOL! It was a minner bite all the way and Meatgetter's Minner Critters worked like a charm. Now we are looking forward to CrappieMasters National Qualifier next weekend.......should be a blast!
