So I was fishing around a dock on a private oxbow this morning, when the owner comes down shaking two cans of wasp spray. He says, "Doing any good?" I laugh and say, "not really!" He says, "Well I'm fixin to stir up some wasps," and I told him to go ahead because I wasn't catching much there anyway. As I am trolling away he says, "Ya know, we work our butts off to put all this brush out and it ain't for YA'LL to be fishin!" Well, I told that nice feller how much I appreciated all his hard work, and that I have caught lots of nice slabs off of his brush in the past. Then I pulled two good ones out of the ice chest to show him that his hard work has definitely been paying off. He was mumbling something as I moved on, but Im not sure what it was. That sure was a nice guy, putting in all that hard work for us. Shoot me a pm and I will give you the coordinates to that nice man's dock, I'm sure he wont mind.

Give em hell Chris!! Get what he deserves! I usually ease on when a owner comes out, just out of respect. But when one starts running his mouth, I make it a point from then on to roll up to it when i see him out, whether i want to fish it or not.
Cmj, he is for sure taking care of you even getting rid of the wasp so ya wont be bothered by them
Too funny.

The folks that rent slips at docks are the same way.Had permission to fish a dock at pier 51 on keystone last year.I was informed by one man that I was catching too many fish! Then they dumped all my fish out of my basket, then they stole or cut my basket loose witn about 15 fish in it.Then one of the guys tuld me to keep my ######## a## out of his slip.
I know when you experience these kind of things its gets your goat. However in the long run your probably far better off ignoring them and going on with your business. Should that not work get a patio boat (Pontoon Boat) and invite as many of your fishing buddies out as you can muster for free beer and fishing. Then have a party right there. Of course do all of this with in legal hours of the day. If its a USACE Lake I think you might have rights to go on shore... My anchor might even get stuck and a few of those brush piles might get relocated.
