Now that's a first for me! Never heard of chumming with kitty litter!
My buddy rieve and I headed out to a local lake this morning pushing corks in 10 ft of water with minnows five feet deep. The bite was slow. we decided to toss some kitty litter to chum up the crappie and immediately the bite started to pick up. We ended up with 28 crappie and three catfish.

My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
NEW one on me too.
FISH ON
Me either but it worked. I guess the little pellets falling through the water column made them bite
I would like to know how many goobers will run to the store and buy kitty litter for there next fishing trip, what made you try this? Just have some in the boat and decide awe what heck, fish aren't bitting , lets try this kitty litter, just might work, I've never heard of it before but 'hey jack' whatever works! lol!!!
Midsouth Tackle
Used it to hold my rod holder in my buddies boat in a 5 gallon bucket. Just happened to toss some out and as soon as I did caught a fish so did it a few more times it was crazy
This is a pretty amazing thread. First, how in the world did you stick those fish on that board and get them to hang like that for the picture. Second, I've just checked with Walmart if they would price break a pallet of kitty litter. They said "naw". I asked if they would price break it for the humane society, and they said "yes". Now I don't know whether to lie or pay full price

Just bought Wal Mart out in Waldron
I prefer cow chips. Readily available in my boat and a lot cheaper than cat litter.

I guess there are worse things to do. Somebody let me know if they have the same result before I go buy a pallet of kitty litter!
