HOLY COW!!! What a Dink...Shane Gent puts a nail in the coffin with a 1 7/8th inch whopper beating his own record. That is one I don't think that can be beat. This thing may be over early guys. LOL What a dink Shane. You got RCC quaking in his boots right now man. Good Job. HAHA!!!

    Commentary:
John... what is the rest of the competition going to haft to do to try and win this thing...?

Well Bob... I'll tell ya Shane Ghent has changed the game with this 1 7/8th incher. The rest of the field is going to haft to downsize Big Time!!! if they want a chance at winning this thing. I mean 2-4 LB test, tiny bobbers, and micro jigs or pieces of small worms. They have got to try and catch those hatchling's coming off the beds. They are really fishing for a different kind of fish now, to bring home the Championship. Good Luck and bring home That WINNING Dink.

DANG! I have caught some dinks in my life, but that one takes the cake, or rod, or anything else there is to take!

Never seen a bluegill with a Protruding lower jaw!i if it is it is, but it only had that dot on one side and the body looks exactly like a white crappie.

Wasn't trying to stir things up. I was just agreeing with CJ that it wasn't a crappie. I have handled thousands of young bluegill and crappie. It sure doesn't have the body profile of a young crappie. But then again, I could be wrong. Reguardless of what species it is, that was quite. A feat getting it to bite your jig.
