Thank you to all that fished the Tournament on Saturday!!! We had 8 teams fish in what seems to have been very tough conditions I have fished all these lakes for 20 plus years and this was one of the toughest days I can recall!!! Dont forget about The Dardanelle Tournament on June 1st hope to see everyone there!!

1st Place was Crappie Greg and Crappie Pro with 9.19 and first big fish 1.85!!! Great job guys!!! $240 FP BF $64

2nd Place was Dusty Edwards (treetop) and Michael Kimble with 8.40 $160

3rd Place was Midsouth Man and Walker 333 with 7.11

4th Place was Geagle81 and CMJ with 5.96

    5th Place was Arkcrappie with 4.16 2nd big fish 1.71 BF $16

6th place was Jason and Jim Westerberg with 2.93

Big fish 1.85 Crappie Greg and Crappie Pro
    2nd BF 1.71 Arkcrappie

Great Job everyone!!! See you at the next one remember all tourneys are 100% cash payback!! And at all tourneys hear how the top teams fished and how they figured out which technique was the best. These tourneys are for fun and are open to all to join in so if you have any questions give me a call or pm me.

We will have a tournament July 13 on lake Nimrod then we will break for the summer and then we will have the championship oct 12 and if you fish one of the 2013 CACA tourneys you qualify for the championship which the lake will be announced after the Nimrod tourney.

Jerry there's only 2 tourneys left,June 1 at dardenelle, the last one will be on July 13 on lake nimrod and then the championship will be in October lake is TBA , this year you only have to fish one tourney to be able to fish the championship so come on over to nimrod and you can also fish the championship ,originally you must fish 2 to be elligable !

A little late on that one! Want to say thanks to Jason for the effort he has given trying to get the caca up and going this year, I've never tourney fished before but I have really had a good time with it this year and gotten to meet some good guys in the process , if any of you guys are thinking of giving it a try you should a least do it one time, I think for the first year the turnouts have been pretty good , and you might even win one of these things and have bragging rights for a month , until the next one and you get your butt kicked!! Thanks again Jason for your hard work , look forward to the next one!Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1368994331.257674.jpg

Nice fish and congratulations on the Win on a pretty tough day at least on Brewer. I to would like to think Jason for his efforts in running the tournaments. The wife and I had a blast in our first tournament even with the tough conditions. We thought about trying to get in the bass tournament on Brewer because we had a nice sack of bass. Lol!!

The crappie bite seemed tough over here as well. Still some good fish caught. Congratulations to all.

For anyone thinking those guys are too good for me to fish with relax its all about fun, friends, and fishing. Cmj and I decided to throw out hats in the ring with my boat and one 100 dollar fish finder on the trolling motor. The cool thing about the tournament is the opportunity to learn a new body of water or in this case 3 bodies of water. Friday Cmj fished the north part of brewer hitting brushpiles and I fished the south part pushing minnows...after not having much luck he went to Overcup and I went to Harris break. I spider rigged the boat lane at Harris break and jigged stumps with no luck but Cmj spider rigged Overcup with moderate success. We launched tournament day at Overcup and spider rigged all morning... fun thing was we could see treetops team and arcrappie while we were fishing. We caught 6 fish and lost 2 that coulda put us in 3rd place! All in all I got to enjoy some good fishing with Cmj, learned a few new things, and got a ton o knowledge about three great crappie lakes in central Arkansas. Please if you have ever considered fishing a tournament come out and support CACA. Jason has done a great job getting things started now its up to us as CDC addicts to bump it up to the next level and get 10 to 15 boats fishing!
