Thread: Crappie Magnets

I've heard a lot of hype about crappie magnets over the last year or so. Are they any better than jigs? The plain old red/chartreuse jig rarely lets me down... I've got an array of other colors, some work better than others on certain days.. I've looked at crappie magnets but never fished with them, they just look like an expensive jig to me.

Just try them but don't limit to one trip because you can get skunked with any bait! They produce a unique presentation and matched with the correct color of heads in "MY" opinion are one if not the best! But don't take my word fish them and don't be afraid to change body/head colors or weight or depth!! If I can be any help let me know!
