Locating fish is 99% of the work.
80-90% of the water is dead.

Can't catch them if they are not there.
If they are there, that don't mean they will bite. However, if they are there eventually they will bite.. One may assume it was because he tied on the magic jig.

    They don't know the differance.
I like it from after the spawn when most throw in the towel all the way through summer when temps are in triple digits.

I don't think they will ban me for arguing my point... I mean.. unlike the rest I actually have an argument. We ALL are arguing right?

I hurt some feelings talking about spider rigging. I was not aware this was an on going problem..

You WILL get a ban when you cross the line..

I am late on this thread but here is my 2 cents. I love my Meatgetter Jigs (hair) when I single pole. I dont think you can beat them. With that it doesnt mean I wont put a Mid South tube on from time to time. I think its confidence in what you are using. 10 years ago I had 3 tackle boxes with every color of jig you can think of. Now I use 5 color Meatgetter jigs and 7 Midsouth Tubes and 5 Bobby Garland Baby shads.4 Minner Critters. 1 tackle box. When those crappie are on the bed they nail those hair jigs. When I slow troll I like to use a tube and tip it with a minnow. I will always have a roadrunner and a BG baby shad when I troll on 1 pole. At times I have used tubes when I set yo-yos.
