I've floated from lobo to dripping springs many times and it is an awesome float, perfect for these hot days , talk about cooling off , just jump in and instant freeze , and the fishing good as well, I like to go after the big browns!

I'm pretty sure the ramp is AGFC at Lobo. I know it is at dripping springs. Don't go to the resorts much but I cant think of a ramp on the river that's not AGFC.

No charge for launching at Lobo. Good luck! Mainly just generating after 1pm and the river goes up all evening
Was that a bite? Forgot what they feel like!

    Hey Cmj,

Try this before you go. You can see how much water has been released. I understand they have two generators at Greers Ferry Dam and each will let approximately 3000 cubic feet per second. So if you see about 6,000 cfs, you know both generators are working and the river will be mighty high and fast. I don't fish the Little Red much, but you can get an idea from this. When no generators are going, the river is almost dead calm, with just a very little bit of flow. Might get some better info from those who fish it regular, but hopefully this will help. Good luck.
