    Default Cadron Creek Crappie

pretty nice crappie i caught on the cadron this evening. exactly 18" . the only "big" fish i caught this evening. usually if i catch one like this then i will catch 4 or 5 more. that didnt happen tonight, but then again i really dont know squat about crappie fishing so go figure. caught 17 all together not even half were eaters.

no didnt weigh it, i turned it loose. not a real fat fish. i dont think it was near as heavy as some are at that lenght. we have caught them bigger than that in the cadron. i can probably dig up a few pics although i usually dont take any pics or even measure. i know we have caught several that are longer than a 5 gal bucket is tall.

    cotton bowl time for now.

Yeah it don't take long to get a mess when they are that big! I'd rather have the 11" to 13" size though. You take about 18 or 20 that size and you got some meat.
