Conway is the best bream lake in the state, has a few camp sites, no electric or water so you would be roughing it!
Hey guys-
Last June when I got married the weekend before for my bachelor party all my buddies went to my cabin on an oxbow lake between Des Arc and Biscoe and we had a bream tourney. We had such a good time that we decided to make it an annual trip and they have even had T-shirts made up for this year’s event. Problem now (besides we cant get to it yet) is going off the 08 flood that got to the floor when it crested at 33.74 ft at des arc the cabin got about 6 foot of water in it this time and will probably be a total loss when we are able to get there. Last year we had 9 people and this year it has grown to 15. Most everyone has a flat bottom boat that which is what you need to fish the lake the cabin is on but need some ideas of some smaller lakes that we may find some bedded bream on that has room for us to camp. I spend a lot of time on Ouachita and was going to do it there but with the boat situation it doesn’t make sense.
Thanks for any input! BTW the weekend is May 21

Save A Minnow, Use A Jig
is that adkins or atkins?
I don't think Atkins has much for camping.

Joe, Is the water down in the campgrounds at the Dam on hy 60?
I always heard bull shoals was a nice bream lake. short of that I would look at lake Dequeen
Sounds like enough guys to get that cabin back into order in no time at all. Just have the materials ready when everybody gets there.:D
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Oh I can promise you that there will be plenty of people there when the water drops out. I do have the best friends in the world. Actually for a wedding present last summer they bought me a Mathews Z7. Problem is that the river has to drop another 4 foot or so before we can even get to it and then no telling how long before it drys out enought to start some work.
