Good lookin mess...fillets are great, but the dinks (to me) are the best eatin...something about cooking the fish with the bone in...even with fillets, I cook the backbones for me...not fishing today...no guts, no glory...
Save the planet, it is my favorite place to fish...

Well I didn't get to go due to sick kids and honey do's. I'll be back thusday and Friday unless I get threatened with a divorce. Then again, I'll be there Thursday.

I agree, the smaller ones do taste better. After family and friends hear about a crappie haul, it disappears very quick.

A few of those could have stood to grow a little more.
But great catch. Been a long time since i have fished the Shoe. looking forward to getting back over there soon.
Need to find me a reliable fishing partner to go with.
