Talked to my buddy just a while ago... Him and his wife caught 20 or so this evening. 3/4lb average some 1lb. Caught them on a jig pole, jig
Under a bobber in the lillies.
You just see them hot spots... Low limb overhanging a fast bank, add a little stick up and there you have it. Alot of times they look like lil sharks swimming around. Dorsal fin out of the water.

Wife picked up some Dana Max jigs at Bates while she was in the area. I'm just itching to give them a try up here. They look really good.

We didn't know which colors to buy, but the little lady being as smart as she is, just picked randomly out of the bins that had the most already goneThumbs Up She figured the best sellers would be the hottest. We'll see.

Nice pic ! Brings back alot of memories from when my kids were young !!
One technique we used back in Texas instead if jigs , we would get large (#11) pork rinds in any light color and cut them with sissors into strips about 1/4" X 1" . We used white alot. Just put the strip on a long shank bream hook and fish under a cork. The rind last forever and they really work.
