Thread: crappie tournment

Capps and Coleman won the tournament. Brought in a huge stringer of 7 on Saturday. I think about 15 pounds. Also had the big fish. I think it was 2.42. MidSouth Man came in third. Had the lead for a bit but a couple of teams beat him. Way to go, Dennis!

yes thats correct on capps and coleman.thing is they put in right here and went 1/4 mile to gold point where gold creek runs out from here,gold creek just hard to beat.those crappie seemed to be moving out of here through the creek channel.gold creek also continues through gold lake.anyway they fished the channel from here to there and waxed those big ones.i did get the priveledge of seeing the fish and what they were caught on and how.had paul apers crew in here sat filming c&c.steve wild man wilson filming in her fri.i told them go out to gold point they just filmed up in here.they got some good footage from the flats and creek.two guys did alright on the flats dont know where they placed.just wish some of our locals had figured out gold creek east and gold point before the pros.another out of state tennesse couple did well on the point.they were 10th on fri.wish someone else could give us more info.oh yeah i did say the pool is in limbo right now till fall.but the cypress trees east of here also in the lake are producing.

At least Midsouth didn't have to give up winnings this time.
