    Default Meeting Crappie.com folks


    Seems like here lately I have met several Crappie.com folks on Nimrod lake. Some log on to post and others just lurk in the background. The latest was Cache22 yesterday at the fish cleaning station. Met 2 others last week around the boat ramps. Suprizing how many folks walk up and introduce themselves or say they saw me here on the site. How many you met lately and where?

    Met many folks from here on Lake Conway; CrappiePro, SkiTrip, Jiggyback, LRJoe1, DANO, and a few others. Peckerwood; MeatGetter, MidSouth Man, and a few others too (dang it, my memory is failing me).

    If you want to meat other CDC folks, the best place is the boat/tackle shows. We're the guys hovering over the crappie boats, not the bass boats.

    Also, wife says I finally found some friends :o

    October is "Crappie-Puhlooza" month, so hopefully I'll meet more folks.

    Met ss2004 from Russellville last weekend. I fell out of my boat as we were swapping favorite jigs!:o

    I've met quite a few on the local lakes that recognized me from a picture I had as an avator of my boat. It's great meeting the guys that post on the site but lst spring I had a guy (a lurker) that told me he read everything I have written about how the fishing is on the lake so now he looks for my boat to know where to fish. I've also had a few folks come up and greet me at the ramp saying they knew who I am thru CDC and followed me to where I was gonna fish. Now I watch what a little more closely to what I say on the boards. Needless to say I dont give locations out on the site anymore nor do I advertise when/where I plan on fishing. If I have some friends I can help out that's struggling I do it by PM's now and likewise from my friends.:rolleyes::o
