Your biggest problem will be trying to find someone to pay...or better yet finding someone legitimate to pay. I plan to be at Ed's either Sat or Sun morning, or both.
Is the Fowler's landing on Midway still open? I know they closed the bait store after Mr. Fowler died, but thought the landing might still be open.

Last I heard, she was carrying minnows. But I'm not sure now that it's gotten hot. Might be wise to give her a call to be sure first... Joyce Jones (870) 339-2878.
I'm going to try to rustle up some rosies from somewhere around here. Found out Bill's Quickstop is no longer Bill's...and the lovely women working there don't have a clue. No rosies, and shiners are $1.39 per handcounted dozen (including duds from the floor). I sure do miss the baitshop in LR...
CEB,
Your best bet for minnows is Keuter's or Pillow's in Paragould. They are right across the road from each other on West Kings Highway. You can buy rosie's or normal minnows for less than ten bucks a pound. Last time I paid 6 dollars a pound last year.
Ringo
Broadway Grocery in Forrest City had the rosies earlier this year, but I'm not sure if they do now. Sounds like the fishin' must be getting good at Midway. Any info?
I haven't heard anything definite, I just haven't had a Midway fix this year, and the river is finally out of it.
Is this the Midway near Horseshoe? Don't mean to ask the stupid ? but trying to get it stright. THX
Why does the wind blow every time I'm on the water?
yes
Yes Joyce has minnows and gives you a good count 1.50 a doz. Fish have been been biting pretty good over there since the river got out. Lots of nice fish in the 1 1/4 - 1 3/4 range a some 2lbers. Loads of gar so take a lot of minners to feed em. I get at least6 doz.
