    Default Lake Brewer Still Hot

Fished Brewer Monday and last Thursday, limited out both days with several nice keepers and fish up to 15 inches. CastNBlast has taught me well on this lake. Brush piles stick out like a sore thumb, find them with your DF and Drop the bomb with a shinner 10-12 ft over tops in 15-20 foot deep. Keep moving until you find the one with the motherload. Plenty of whites and Kentucky's to fillet up also. Man it's Hot out there. God Bless... CP

Way to go Russ....I was there Yesterday morning with a friend from Branson...Wished I'd known you were there...We fished Sunday evening and did pretty well until that second front came through and then they shut down for us....we caught 16 yesterday and quit at 11:30 so he could go back to Branson but never did get any real slabs. Man it was getting hot and I was glad to quit...lol....are you about ready to try some cranks?

Thanks Tory, ya i did'nt get out there until about 4PM yesterday I had to get tags on my new truck it was hot as heck but I went anyway. I have been killing em in the morning and right at dark and even after dark with a lantern. I launch at the Res Rd ramp, seems closer to the action. That spot along that northend bank has been lights out. at daylight and at dark. have not been catching the 16' like we did but still allot of nice blacks and a nice white now and then. You know I love that two pole method.LOL The bad news is My boat motor is INOP and in the shop right now, so I am pretty much stuck to trolling lake Conway by my house or if a fellow CC member is ready to getem on Greers. Let me know. CP

I know about where Brewer is. What are the best directions? What do I look for once I am there? I just might sneak up there Saturday morning. I can pick you up on the way if you are still broke down.

Funny how a heat index of 110 doesn't feel bad at all when your snatchin' those slabs in the boat! Thanks for the pics...
