Aw Man, that's a good eatin' size one he got there. Just perfect for fried steaks, mashed potaters, green peas, biscuits & gravy. Make sure the hunter eats his green peas!
Congrats. GTT

Good job. Would love to hear him telling his friends at school about the hunt. I was 16 before I killed my first one.
Both of you are lucky.
Tell'em I'll be there.

Congrats! That looks like the first of many to me.
Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Yes! My grandma, "Mama Flossie" always fried tender loin THE DAY the deer was brought in. She taught me how to fry the steaks, make real mashed potatoes, and onion gravy.......how many 17 year old boys would go in the kitchen and help grandma cook? I did, and I'm so thankful now that she's gone that I did. I also make her pecan pies every Thanksgiving and Christmas. Almost pecan picking up time too.
Wow! That is amazing! He is da man ALREADY!
