Every one I ever killed was a trophy!

Good luck to you, and all. Gone for most of rest of the year! Later, gators.

Twas the day before deer season
and all through the land
All the hunters were scouting
and putting up stands

The rifles had been shot,
they were all sighted in
Preparing for a tirty point
to come walking in.

Trucks were a running
back and forth to the store
Getting groceries, and licenses
and shells, Maybe more

The hunters they were happy
this time of year is so awesome
Since deer season is here
They are grinning like a possum

Mister deer hunter
if you happen to look around
You're not the only one
Not wearing a frown

It's your wife or your girlfriend
whistling a tune
Ladies week out
Happens to be this week too

They have polished credit cards
and found comfortable shoes
Stores will be visited
there is shopping to do.

So while you are roughing it
hunting Bambi real hard,
The ladies will be shopping
Maxing out your credit card

While you are hunting
and things are a little slow
Don't feel sorry for the wife
who didn't get to go

She's living it up
spending your dime
Glad your are gone
so she can have a good time

So it's deer season
everyone is glad
Hope it's they best one
ya'll ever had

All you hunters may think

You have an incredible talent, dude! Very good observation too, I might add. I retired from deer hunting last year but I still remember the feeling of getting ready and opening day. Y'all be safe out there and I hope Ol Mossy Horns walks out on each one of you. I will be on your lake catching a limit of crappie.
