Went back this morning with both rods, caught a couple more decent bluegill in the deeper water. Went to the shallow water end. Didn't find any legal crappie but found a spot that was stacked with fish in the 7 to 8.5 inch range. I switched back and forth between the two rods fairly often. Pretty much every time I had to put a new waxworm on the jig every 3 to 4 fish, was using trout magnets with a waxworm.
The action is different on the two rods but they both are a ton of fun with panfish. I find myself using the carabus more often than the Presso Air AGS, I do that often enough that I've only caught panfish on it. I'd like to see how it is with a bass or even the trout from last night would have been nice to see how it handled that.
