I’m experimenting with several lines at the moment. 2# P-line Floroclear, and 6# Daiwa J8 Grand braid with a Flouroclear leader .
I did make it to the town pond today for about an hour and a half.
I took my Daiwa Trout X 5’6” UL with a Daiwa Legalis LT 1000 spooled with the Daiwa braid . I like the braid so far . It casts great , increases sensitivity, and most of all , very manageable. No wind knots in two trips and I’d had some good wind to experiment with. Today was 9mph with gusts to 19 .
Too windy and cold to get the Ester out .
