Thread: Favorite jig head soft plastics for spotted bass on UL

This time of year, I enjoy throwing small soft plastics on UL rods using 2.5-4 lb line in deep water for spotted bass. What are some of your favorite small soft plastic lures to put on a jig head for this situation?

I only have one...a Trout Magnet on a 1.5 gram Daiwa Gekkabijin jig head with either a #6....#8....#10 hook. Over the last 5 years I have caught a couple thousand below Nickajack Dam. Many of them fill up many of the 240 or so videos I have done in the past 3.5 years. Before all that I was doing the same at Center Hill Lake. Before that I was doing the same below Pickwick Dam from the bank. All on same lure....Trout Magnet. Here is one video of the Trout Magnet in action. Nearly all my Spots below Nickajack have come out of 24 feet of water or so.
