I have the major craft trapara area model tps-662 sul. It was my 1st JDM rod. A lot of fun for 83 bucks, as long as you use the correct line and lure weight.

Randy, I've got a question for ya. I've noticed Major Craft Finetail rods for sale on Ebay. They are green colored rods and there seems to be plenty of UL models to choose from. Are these models just older models? Are they pretty good quality?

Pricing seems to be $150++, what do ya know about these? Thanks!!

I owned one of them. They are OK but the new Fine Tail FAX series are far superior...at not a lot more money.

I think the new ones (FAX) are much better looking, great color scheme.

My first rod from Digitaka (ordered Mar 26) is finally on the move: dispatched from outward office in Osaka. Hopefully a good sign for those who still have their packages tied up in Japan Post...

I just learned through a grape vine that Digitaka projects restocking its rod selection sometime in May, specifically Blue Current from Yamaga Blanks and "others".

Received a Shimano Trout Rise 6’XUL today from Digitaka. It’s my first JDM Rod. Paired it with my Ballistic 1000. I think it’s going to be a great setup. Excited to get hooked up to see how it’s going to perform.

Well no Presso Limited AGS rod for me. eBay...decided on their own.....to refund my money. Told me the shipping can’t be clarified so best they give my money back. I was really wanting that rod. Oh well....another search starts.

    Regards

Well that stinks. Those AGS guides do look interesting.
