    You know Chris probably has a better answer than me....but....it is just not done. They will use the proper rod for the proper situation. I have used the Tict also for trout.....worked out great. Oh.....and as far as I can tell they will not use plastics for trout either.

    Check out this technical info that Olympic details about the materials and performance of their rods. They even describe the experiments they used to test the performance of their rods. Really cool for a science nerd like me!

    I have two Olympic rods, I think Randy has a couple and Va Crappie dude has 3 I think, they are awesome rods, won’t go wrong for the money.

    I am better off with an UL or a XUL i normal fish from a boat using 1/16th jigs.....my avger crappie in 10" 8oz or so i dont want 2b under powder

    I found one on ebay ..i might pull the trigger .....i can assume NO DUTCH HAULING with these rods!!
