    Default Logan Boat Launch Reports?


    Can anybody give any reports on boat launches on Logan Martin?

    Last time I went 2 weeks ago at Coosa Island Marina I just about had to launch my truck to get the boat off the trailer.

    How about:

    Lakeside Landing

    Rabbit Branch (or whatever name it is now)

    Clear Creek Marina

    anywhere else?

    Any reports would be appreciated.

    I haven't been in a while but as of yesterday (08/29) the lake level was at 460. I can put my bowrider in at Lakeside when the level is at 459.5 but the angle of ramp at that level makes it a little harder to get the boat back on the trailer. The bow of the boat wants to come in under the bow roller. What I do is put the boat most of the way on the trailer, then pull the truck up a few feet, then winch it up all the way. 459.5 is the lowest level I have encountered while putting my boat in at Lakeside.
