    Default It’s always exciting.

I was able to get on the water 3 afternoons in a row last week 8-10th. Forgot to take pictures of all the fish but was able to do fair. First days catch was 27 crappie and 5 bass, second day was 30 crappie, and the final day was 27 crappie and a blue cat. The crappie were feeding heavily on small shad. One crappie crapped all in my boat and multiple were spitting out shad like bass do. I’ve never seen that before. Also had another first. I caught a lampshade. It put up a heck of a fight with my 6’ bnm and 4 lb fluorocarbon.

Good thing you had a BnM or you would have never landed that lampshade.
