Nice !
Thanks for sharing!
Fished gravel pits from 130-630 today and finally found some fish in pit closest to the bay but only after I set depth at 40 inches below the cork. Super slow retrieve and occasionally the cork would softly sink and there would be a nice crappie on the hook. Got 10 keepers and 2 cats for a friend in need…….fish were moving around in the deeper part of the pit. No fish caught on bank

the creek is clear and water is 2 ft below pool and wasnt moving....TVA is prob bringing it up to pool slowly for the summer.......I didnt have any problems getting my 16 ft flat bottom into 2 of the pits but the one I caught fish in needs a lumber jack to remove deadfalls blocking the entrance and exit ....saw and even larger boat in the big pit...fish obviously had a hangover from feeding the day before and seemed to be hugging the bottom of the deepest part of the pits.
Jcpate3 thanked you for this post
Many are probably just eating and waiting the water to get a little warmer and the full moon. Almost everything I caught were males, looks like you may have picked up several females.
