I'll sit in the front, so I'm installing a Minn Kota Deckhand anchor in the back with a button to raise and lower the anchor from the front. A Garmin mount for my existing Garmin Echomap UHD 73SV that I use on my kayak so I can move it back and forth between boats.

I may wait a while but will eventually mount a Motorguide Xi3 with GPS on the front to replace the older Motorguide foot control (30 pounds of thrust), but I plan to get the 12volt, 55-foot pounds of thrust model. I already picked up an EverStart Maxx Marine Battery 29DC. I may go to something different later or even carry two but didn't want to trust the older battery that came with the boat. Transducer will be mounted on the trolling motor. I'm also looking at a better seat, something mesh that won't be so hot in the summer, maybe the Wise Aero X Cool-Ride. No hurry since I don't plan to be on the water at night but will need to put nav lights on it eventually. Since it will be outside, I ordered a boat cover from Water Moccasin Outdoors.

I paid $1,700 for it with trailer. The trailer has new lights and tires. No issues with the bearings and they didn't even get warm driving it home. The trailer has a few rust spots, but very minimum. The boat doesn't have any signs of cracks, repairs or damage to the fiberglass. Aeriated livewell and bilge pump work.

I can't wait to go to Madison County Lake, pull up to a brush pile and just hit the spot lock.

Nice haul. I was kayak fishing Indian Creek yesterday. Caught about a dozen crappie, about half keepers. 1/16 oz jig with pink and yellow grub. Also caught a 5 lb bass, some some stripers, and a couple of skipjacks.

The skipjack are crazy in there right now, I seem to catch 10 or 12 every trip.

It will probably take me a few weeks to get it rigged out the way I want it, but it should be ready for spring!
That is one interesting ride for sure. I think I want one. Really Bad.

Now since I think about it I saw one of those at Fishin Boat Instalation at Rogersville getting rigged out and didn't pay it no attention.

Nice catch! That’s a sweet looking rig there Not sure that I’ve ever seen one.. you will love the GPS trolling motor, best thing I’ve ever put on my boat especially for trolling… set the speed and heading, or you can’t even record a track if you have a few spots on your graph where the fish are at. It will run the direction and speed you want to go no matter the wind direction.

I've been looking at reviews, I may go with the Minnn Kota Terrova with i-Pilot and a foot control. I'll probably need to shorten the shaft but looks like a simple mode to cut down.
