    Kayaks are versatile find those feeder creeks with deeper channels that lead to flats, find bait balls on your depth finder and normally fish will be around, if u have down imaging u will see brush piles clearly and if they hold fish, the Madison co lake is a good little isolated place like slabprowler said too

    If I lived in Hampton cove I would fish flint creek. I've caught crappie right there off the 431 bridge, also you can take main st I think and go down to the mouth of river, where flint and tn river meet. Also the blown out bridge in Scotts off 72. The places you fishing now will start producing in several weeks
