When buying a used boat what are the necessary things to check out. Does anyone have experience with the Astro quick fire 18fs

Older Boats can have wiring issues with Corrosion in Wire splices causing overheating of the wires - low voltages eat up everything and lead to Battery failures. The Boat sitting in the water that takes on water could be from Cracks in the hull that does not show up when on a test Run

Check everything. Seriously. Check the prop shaft and see if it's bent. Check compression on each cylinder. Run the motor, preferably in the river for a test drive. Assume the wiring in the boat is shot. Replace the fuse panel first. I've reworked 2 boats in the past year and it's a lot of work, but rewarding if you get the right one.

I'm going to be selling my Javelin if your interested it's a little bigger than the Bumble Bee your looking at and it's in very good condition I'm the second owner and always been garaged and have all the factory paperwork. But any boat you buy make sure you check everything out and water test it.

I've been looking at a Xpress H20 bay boat and the Xpress crappie boat.

I'm kind of partial to the Xpress boats. Hard to beat them IMO. Just make sure you get the Hyper lift hull.

X2 on the hyper lift hull. You won’t be disappointed
