Default Kayak Trip Report, Swan Creek WMA

Fished Swan Creek today, trying a few new things. Wind has rough, but found fish everywhere. I returned 16 Crappie, several bass and caught gills all day. All fish returned except a dozen gills for dinner. Best bait/tactic was working a 1/32oz Brown Marabou Jig about 10 inches under a small bobber in and around the button brush.

The water was 70 degrees this morning, warming to 75 by afternoon and stained with visibility of about 6 to 12 inches.

You can get a flatbottom in and run a trolling motor without a problem right now.

Good job sounds like you figured them out again. That section of Swan Creek WMA has always been real hard for me to figure out.
