Picked up my jugs around 6:30 this morning and had 3 blues 8-10lbs one flat about 5 lbs o and one blue around 20lbs , gave to them to a couple of guys bank fishing the causeway. Came in unloaded boat, put cinder blocks and Christmas tree in,off I went, drop tree under dock, across lake I went. To my surprise, loaded with fish, lol. Fished about 1 1/2 hours and caught some nice 13 - 14" and a lot of 10- 13" fish, total... high forty maybe low fifties. Had a boat come in behind me and watch me for a good 5-10 mins as he eased around me then he started bass to fish, but keeping a. close eye on me. Around 45 mins later I stop fishing and headed in and saw a friend just down about a quarter mile out fishing in his pontoon so I headed over to let him know about the hot spot, and guess who, the " bass fishermen" I went past and pulled up to buddy and was tell him where, depth, etc. and low and behold, off went "Mr. bass fishermen" straight to the dock I left. Don't mind a bite, I knew he would, thats why I sore lipped as many as I could, I tried to catch them all, but left them biting. All lived to fight another day. Same jig that has been on my pole the past three days, that jig has caught a lot of fish, will be sad when I loose it. Lol. dock that has a 16-18' drop right on the outside pole, and has 5-8' under it, caught them shallow and on the drop, 10 count on drop, 4-5 under dock.
