Got 31 yesterday. Jigs and minnows. One here, two there all day. Musta fished 20 spots. Deep, shallow, treetops, drop offs. Had to use every trick in the book. Had 7 over 15". Also dropped a 20 hook trotline overnight and got 10 eater size blues and channels

Good trip of fish
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
Sticking with it and changing presentations pays off. Congrats on a great day.

Went Saturday, launched at Roland Cooper, first time to ever fish in a long time to fish there, tried many tree tops with minnows and jigs only caught a couple of shorts, I will have to learn it to be productive but most I talked to wasn't doing any better Saturday.
I was upstream from you but have a cabin here and know my area very well. Not bragging but I can usually get a mess when others can't just because I've been here long enough to know the good "spots". Roland Cooper area actually produces way more fish when they are biting good and FYI they bite in the lakes way better when the water is moving out and both Friday and Saturday the guys at the dam knew we were trying to fish and changed the water pulling schedule to screw us up. Lol
