I made a trip to Indian Creek today, the water was muddy with a lot of current. It took me a couple hours to get on a pattern, finally found them deep, 6 to 8 feet using laydowns as a current break. I had to up size to 1/8oz jig to be able to get down to the fish, but they were hitting well. Best color was Chartreuse. Many, many small fish again. I kept a limit for the freezer, returning several fish over 15 inches. Hard conditions, but a fun day. The water was 58 degrees when I started at around 9AM, had warmed to 60 by the time I left at 3PM.
