Felt good
To be back out in the boat yesterday. Fished my home lake out of MT Vernon yesterday. Got all my rigs out at 0800 in a heavy fog and caught 2 pretty quick. Had 6 keepers by 0930 with that many shorts but the sun broke through and a slow bite turned to nothing. All on jigs but various colors, no pattern. Water temp. 57 and it was a little stained but not bad considering the rise has just fallen out of the delta. Was fishing in about 10 FOW as this is the Max depth in this small lake with the water low. Fish seemed to be biting at 5 to 6 FD. Wrapped up at 1045 so the wife and I could do our YMCA gym thing at 1300. Sorry no pictures.
