    Default Guntersville Bridges 28 Dec

Finally got out and did some fishing under the Hwy 79 causeway on N. Sauty. Boats were thick up under there, but the bank was pretty much wide open. We checked Mink Creek first, but it was already covered up at 0545. My oldest daughter and her fiancée wanted to give it a try so we loaded up and gave it a go. Using BGBS in Monkey Milk and Glacier on 1/16 jig heads seemed to be what they wanted. Bite was OK until about 0830 and then the skip jacks moved in and took over. We did not catch a single short fish, everything measured. As you can see from the grins on their two faces, they were happy with the results of their trip.

Congrats! Great catch and great family time. Glad you got them before the wind started howling.
