    Default Flint creek

Fished after church today with my dad from 1-5 . Had near a cooler full. Don't know exactly how many. Crappie was very active at the top of the water column. Hung 3 on my cork but got off. About 3 foot on the line was the ticket. Color really didn't matter. I had light colors dad had dark. Depth was from six to two. Full of eggs. I'll ask dad tomorrow what they were like. But there butthole wasn't red. None really had there tuxes on. I'd say about 9 to 16 days before they go up. Took some pics with my phone but can't remember how slab said to post. God bless.

Update the eggs weren't bloody. Was going back today but the water was falling fast and my triton couldn't move in mud. The fish appear to want be shallow. But there lowering the river. Water was up to 64 degrees.

Thanks for the update, if the warm temps hold the spawn may be early and fast.
