Good report glad you had a good time.
went out last Friday at noon and fished under the Honeycomb bridge for and hour and half and managed to catch 9 nice keepers that I gave to another fellow on the bank nearby. The fish were chasing shad and every time the baitfish moved close enough to my spot, I managed to catch a couple. bobby garlands fished 8-10 ft deep were the ticket. Today I tried a boat dock that had lots of baitfish schooling around it and caught and released 6 . 2 more giant slabs broke me off around the dock supports and so did a giant bass. Ive got to remember to take a bucket next time to keep a few. the bite is on and it will only get better.
Good report glad you had a good time.

Excellent report thanks!! I figured with the shorter days and cooler nights it was bound to start picking up.
Good report but not to be a spoil sport I fished 3 bridges this morning starting at 4am till 9 am on the big G from the bank and only managed one 14 incher and 3 dinks all on BG blue thunder and about as many very small white stripe as I wanted. There has been a great spawn for them it would seem wish they were all crappie instead. I did not go in the honey comb area but stayed in the Browns creek and city of Guntersville area.Wind was blowing rather brisket out of the Northeast
