I feel your pain, we trolled today and the bass boat trafic bounced us all over the lake. I wish those guys would go into a spot and actually fish it. They do more running than fishing. We only ended up with 7
Hit the water around 6:30 this morning after hunting for a ramp that wasn't covered up with bass fishermen, luckily I was able to put in at the ramp by the 431 bridge. Fishing was tough due to bass tournament and literally dozens of boats everywhere and everyone was slinging those dadgum Alabama rigs. I managed only one crappie, but it was a nice 15" 2lb fish. Fished the bridge on the 69 causeway and kept catching blue cats on minnows. One was around 10lbs.

All the places I wanted to drag some jigs was covered up with guys throwing those A-rigs. I will stick to the Decatur area next time!
I took daughter this morning we got 19 keepers left at 9. Almost all males under the bridge.
Wish I could have just made it out today
Nice fish, just glad I can fish during week right now and avoid the KVD wannabes
I'm guilty of slinging an A-rig a few times but honestly it's a workout so I haven't used it but a handful of times. Ever since that Elias dude came here and wore them out in the Bassmasters tourney with the A-rig every Bo, Jim, and Luke is slinging them now. I bought two Yumbrella rigs, and found one tangled in a branch I pulled up off bottom of river.
Bass fisherman are some rude folks .Now when I catch a legal Bass I hold it up in the air is high is I can reach in slow motion I throw it into my bucket..used to let bass go not anymore.
I went Friday and the ramps were covered then as well. It's that time of the year, pretty much non stop anglers. Plus, the classic added a bunch more. No luck on the crappie, caught a a couple shellcrackers and few bass. Fished the open waters.
