    Default Guntersville current

I am going to fishing Guntersville a few days next week. Do the crappie seem to be more active when current is moving thru the bridges? I have not fished much around the bridges but I have noticed a better bite on spawning flats when current was moving. Thanks for any help.

Fished from 4 to 7 p.m Friday night with the current we caught some small ones. When the current stopped we got skunked nothing..This time of year the current is great for the bite but I have caught crappie in the spring while the fish are spawning with no current.

The current means everything under the two bridges I fish. As soon as the flow stops the bite stops. I think the bait scatters when the flow stops.

Thanks. Everyone had the same experience with current. Info you can count on. Does generation have any pattern? Early morning more likely than afternoon etc?

You can call 257-1077 and get the schedule of when they will be pulling

Or you can get it online, there is even an app for the TVA pull schedule. Good to have on your phone when you're there and they predict the next couple of days in advance.

Current is a must on the Big G and bridges. Like LD said TVA has an app for your phone or you can get the hourly flow on your computer too.
