good luck hope you find them!
Heading over to Guntersville tommorrow to try some trolling. Hopefully we might find some of them slabhogs heading towards the shallows, if not we gonna try trollin around the rocks down the causeway. No matter what it will be an awesome day to be out there.

Good job ridgestalker!!! Beleive they are starting to move in finally. Will be on the Big G tomorrow myself.
Well it was a great day to be out on the water. I guess the conditons were to good. We fished 4 different places with the same results. We did manage to catch a largemouth carp that weighed i guess 4 to 5 pounds that was it. The water temp was 48.6 1st thing this morning and warmed up to 52 degrees. I expect as the water warms a little more the fish should push on in. We did try to long line a little out deeper but just not set up for the long lining. What size jig head is best to use and about how much line needs to be run out? Any suggestion to help me get started.
Caught 14 yesterday in Spring creek. 9 FOW fishing 4-6 feet deep
