    The 40's at night look great for the Crappie and the run off from the rain will start the baitfish move into the creeks early. Finding clear enough water to fish maybe hard for a while though!!

    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE AL HAS ISSUED A
    * FLOOD WARNING FOR
    THE FLINT RIVER AT BROWNSBORO.
    * FROM THIS MORNING UNTIL LATE TONIGHT.
    * AT 2 AM TUESDAY THE STAGE WAS 12.4 FEET AND RISING.
    * FLOOD STAGE IS 17.0 FEET.
    * MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
    * FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY THIS MORNING AND CREST NEAR
    18.8 FEET BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY LATE THIS EVENING.
    * IMPACT...AT 19.0 FEET...WATER BEGINS TO FLOOD YARDS ON THE DOWNSTREAM SIDE OF THE BROWNSBORO ROAD BRIDGE.
    * FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 19.5 FEET ON JAN 23 2012.

    * MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
    * FORECAST...RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY EARLY THIS EVENING AND CREST NEAR 16.0 FEET...THEN FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY LATE TONIGHT.
    * IMPACT...AT 16.0 FEET...FLOOD WATERS AFFECT MOSTLY BOTTOMLAND ALONG THE RIVER...INCLUDING LOW-LYING FARM AND PASTURELANDS.
    * FLOOD HISTORY...THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 16.5 FEET ON FEB 7 2010.

    Looks like I'm stuck working again. I'll find a couple hours here or there, but that's about it this weekend.

    yeah, my little boy is turning 2 this weekend so ill be at home. no fishing this weekend, its ok though, he is worth it.

    ...the flood warning continues for the following rivers in alabama...

    Paint rock river near woodville affecting jackson...madison and marshall counties

    precautionary/preparedness actions...

    Safety message...be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize flood dangers. If while driving you see water over a road...turn around...don't drown! The water depth may be too great to allow your vehicle to cross.

    * until friday morning.
    * at 7 pm wednesday the stage was 14.8 feet and rising.
    * flood stage is 16.0 feet.
    * minor flooding is forecast.
    * forecast...rise to flood stage by early tomorrow evening and crest near 16.0 feet shortly thereafter. The river will fall below flood stage by early friday morning.
    * impact...at 16.0 feet...flood waters affect mostly bottomland along the river...including low-lying farm and pasturelands.
