Anybody got any advice on where to fish? Been hearing long lining aint doing so hot right now. That's mainly what I do but I'm up for anything. I would prefer to stay long lining if possible..Any help would be deeply appreciated.

fish are shallow. you can catch fish in any area of the lake. thing is there are a lot of small fish. If you pull all day you may end up with 20 or so keepers. some better fish are caught shooting docks. some fish seem to be ready to spawn and some seem are not. I am waiting for those big black males to show up in numbers. Have not seen that yet. I fished every day last week but none this week yet. Going this afternoon. Friday will be the only day I get to fish until the weekend of Easter, do I'm trying to figure out where to go. Either headed over to the tenn Tom or up to Weiss.

I heard they were catching more over near where the Coosa runs into the lake....mud creek area.
