    Default Weiss and/or Guntersville Crappie Guides


    Hi All,
    My wife and I will celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary at the end of this month. With work and nursing school we cannot wonder off too far and spend much money. Thought about since we both love to fish, I might just hire a guide on either Weiss or Guntersville and go slab fishing. I would want to go with the one that is most likely to get us a 2 person limit for the freezer because it would probably be the only time I get to go. Would like to hear suggestions from all of you.

    Ditto on the congrats on the 32 years!!! My wife graduated from nursin' school and she loves her job. That is so neat for her. She does that birthin' baby thing I know nothin' about ... lol ... I hope you fill your freezer with slabbies!

    Congratulations! It's 32 years for us this month as well. Our anniversary is on my wife's birthday.

    Mark Collins is who I have used since he started around 15 years ago. I will be on his boat about three weeks from now. Problem this time of year is catching a guide who isn't booked up. He charges $275 per day and his boat is great. Web site is www.markcollinsguideservice.com He has daily picks of his catch's and boat so give him a call. I drive down from KY every year. I have gone so many times I really don't need him as much but with a seven hour drive I would prefer knowing I have a pretty good chance of getting my limit every time.
