I wear my Rocky Bearclaw 800 grams thinsulate boots. My feet getting cold is what sends me to the house.:o

2 friends have farms and both use muck boots. Nothing better for wet cold weather and they last. Billy is a dairy farmer so you know the punishment he delivers to them and his are 2 yrs old and going strong. They are on my after Christmas list for myself, taking care of others for Christmas or it would be on my short list.

I bought a pair of muck camp shoes for cold weather. I like them for the warmth and they are very comfortable but they are very slippery on fiberglass.

keeping your feet warm is a tough when you are sitting or standing still for long periods as you already know. I do a couple of things that seems to help. Buy your boots big enough so they are not binding and slow blood circulation. I also use (spray feet) aerosol antiperspirant/deoderant to keep my feet from sweating and I usually start doing this pretty regular during the winter months as it seems like it takes a few times to start working.
I know this is not a direct comment on what type of boots but I have worn good socks and tennis shoes on some trips in the 20's and been just fine.
Dry feet and keep the blood moving = warm toasty toes.

    Default wolverines

Bought a pair of boots at Dick's sporting goods. Wolverines. 400 gram insulation and waterproof. Regular 129 on sale for 69.00. I figured for that price I couldn't go wrong.

I purchased the Muck 3D Camp Boot which is a short version. It's a great fit and comfortable and perfect for the type of fishing I do. See Cabela's: Muck™ Seclusion 3D® Camp Boots

Best wearing boot I have ever owned
