Wouldn't surprise me. He has to go somewhere and what better place to showcase yourself.

He did hangout with some of the players while in New Orleans and they said the trainers for Alabama actually looked at his shoulder.

Braxton grew up in Springfield with Trey Depriest, they are still Great Friends and meet up in town during the off-season!
Brax also enrolled at OSU for the Spring Quarter...most of us realize, chance are VERY HIGH, that he will never play Quarterback again...this is his 2nd Major shoulder reconstruction and he was told by Dr Andrews that it was unlikely he would be able to throw again.
Us Buckeye Fans that can put away the "Rose Colored Glasses" hope that he switches to the H-Back Position (Percy Harvin)...we also know his chances at playing QB in the NFL are very Slim with his limited throwing ability....I think he is now "seeing" that also!

You guys have another Great group coming up and in next year...hopefully we get to meet again!

I wasn't saying I was hoping he was transferring because quite honestly we don't need him. Not anything against Brax but we really don't need another 5th year senior at QB. I'm more towards starting either Cornwell or Barnett myself. Take your bumps and bruises this year but also get them some experience and make a run the following year. I'm not saying either one couldn't lead bama back to the playoff this year but I'm not big on having another senior start again and then we go through another QB change all over again this time next year.

It's going to be interesting with Saban bringing on another OC also, if LK leaves.
Bama may just go back to playing smash mouth football again!

INTIMIDATOR, I am not making any excuses for Alabama losing, it was their own fault for being stubborn. I give LK credit because I do not think Bama would have even made it to play Ohio State if he was not there. However I think he cost Bama that game against the Buckeyes. Bama could have played smash mouth and stuck with the run and more than likely would have won that game. Buckeyes were not able to stop the run and Bama was controlling the game. Bama went away from the run and tried to pass pass pass and Ohio State was ready for it because they game planned against that because Bama did it against a lot of teams. Kudos for Meyer for being prepared for that, but shame on Kiffin for not running his way to a championship.

I agree, Henry is a BEAST...I think LK relied too much on the QB play! That game would have gone down to who had the Ball last!
I also think Saban built that team with more power than Normal and lost some of the speed needed in areas....IMHO, they beefed Trey up way too much for the SEC....he'll be ready for run stopping in the NFL, but several of the Bama defenders looked slow and a Speed/Power team with a mobile QB gave them fits in coverage's.
Like him or not, I think Urban is building the Perfect College team, just like he did early at Florida...OSU can play power football with the likes of the Old Guard Big Ten and SEC, and can run with the Finesse Schools out West and in the Big 12 but still over Power them.

To be honest, I never gave OSU a chance in the Playoffs...I like others, thought we were a year or two away...imagine my surprise...even more with Cardele...I'm a very Happy Fan!

WE NEED TO GET SLAB TO PUT UP A SPORTS FORUM...I lived in SC for 7 years and enjoy the SEC and "GOOD" fans who can chat, without all the BS....I enjoy learning about other teams and it helps understanding when I watch them!

I actually gave Ohio State a chance. So many people I talked to thought Bama would win easy. For some reason I had a feeling it would turn out just like it did, and I ended up being right. I saw how Bama ended the season last year. I saw how they were doing things in a few games late this season. Last year Bama had Auburn beat if they had ran with Kenyan Drake, they took him out. They had Oklahoma beat with Henry and they chose not to use him much. I told people leading up to the Ohio State game that I was afraid Bama would abandon the run and Sim's would make mistakes throwing the ball under pressure and into coverage. I said it would be a closer game than people think and if he makes mistakes we could lose. I said if Bama plays physical and smash mouth they would wear them down and win. Urban recruited SEC type players, he learned a lot from the SEC. He is actually in a great position at Ohio State, It should be fun for Ohio State to have that many good QB's on hand. I hope we get to play Ohio State again next year, if we can develop another QB fast enough, it should be a dandy.
