Not sure exactly but this one Joedog caught over 17" should qualify!
I think anything over 14" would be a slab. Only caught two over that size this year. Both hit the 15" mark, first caught in January and second earlier this month. Didn't weigh either one but think they were under 2#.

To me a slab is anything over 15”. Now depending on the water and time of year that could be a roughly 1.75 - 2.25lbs.

personally speaking around 15" or so and thick qualifies as quite large to me....
toad, hog , whale , barndoor , donkey , slab , etc.
we rarely see crappie larger than around 2 lbs. here in these parts .
