    I think anything over 14" would be a slab. Only caught two over that size this year. Both hit the 15" mark, first caught in January and second earlier this month.     To me a slab is anything over 15”. Now depending on the water and time of year that could be a roughly 1.75 - 2.25lbs.

    personally speaking around 15" or so and thick qualifies as quite large to me....
    toad, hog , whale , barndoor , donkey , slab , etc.
    we rarely see crappie larger than around 2 lbs. here in these parts .
    nice images yawl , keep them images rolling fellas ....
    KABOOM is for sure the word .....
