I went to the bin sale at the auction house in Senatobia Thursday. 75 cents per item, lots of it comes from Dollar Tree. A few items on pallets with set prices. Tax isn't collected at these sales. I'm looking through the stuff, finding very little I want. The auctioneer announces, all items 50 cents. I gathered a lot of art supplies for my 2 youngest granddaughters. There was a pallet of half liter bottled water 40 ct for $4. It's 5 at Sams and 6 at walmart. Since no tax I got 3 cases.
I watched his auction on Zoom last night. The vendor had lots of food items, most near or out of date. The house adds 10% and collects tax. I didn't buy anything.
