    I've only fished the upper end of Catoma where the Creek comes in, lots of Crappie there. Huge amounts of short fish so there should be plenty if you can find them.

    I forgot to mention, thermocline in Forest Ingram has set up around 12 feet, in Moulton last week it was around 14 feet. This is typical summer stratification, but it sure helps to concentrate the fish and limit large areas vertically in the deep lakes in this area.

    Nope the channel from the put in is about a foot deep at the shallowest. There was one larger boat on the lake. The rain in Cullman may have even raised the water a little since I went. If you're going, I can send you a map with an X where they were Saturday.
