I returned to Forest Ingram today fishing from Daylight till around 1200. It took a while to find the fish (water was 85 degrees) but finally found them on the edge in the shade of a tree in 12 to 16 feet of water. The fish were feeding on a baitfish school, best bait was a 1" slider on a 1/32oz jig head fished nine to ten feet deep casting through the baitfish school. I kept a limit of fish between 9 and 10 inches, returning over a hundred more short fish leaving them biting. The lake is down about t foot to 18 inches with visibility of about three feet. Pics later when I clean them!

Sounds like a good trip.
Great trip
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Great job. Glad to hear you caught some measuring crappie out of Ingram. Last year I might have caught 1 or 2 above 9".
I caught 6 or 8 today that were 10" or just over 10" but none of the big ones. I found several 2-pound White Crappie back during the spring that I returned so there a few good fish in there!
Every fish I’ve caught there has been at least 9 but none much over 10.
